You are invited to attend the CDM & Federal Mandates - How to Use the CDM Dashboard to Enable Automated BOD 22-01 Reporting (CDM220) course on Thursday, June 20, 2024. 

This training is geared toward the Federal Civilian Executive Branch (FCEB) agencies; attendance will be restricted to attendees from these agencies (https://cyber.dhs.gov/agencies/). 

This four-hour course presents information regarding current federal cybersecurity directives, mandates, and policies, and how they can be supported by the CDM Agency Dashboard. Featured prominently will be details on how to use the CDM Dashboard to enable automated BOD 22-01 reporting. The key features of this course include policy origination and history, descriptions of current directives and mandates, descriptions of agency and CISA responsibilities,  subject matter expertise on directives and mandates, and an overview of the new BOD 23-01. 

This course will guide the learner on how the CDM Dashboard can be used to address the requirements of a directive, adhere to policies, and understand how to identify and monitor known exploitable vulnerabilities (KEVs). Knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy principles and a familiarity with organizational cybersecurity requirements and procedures is recommended.  

EVENT PREREQUISITES: 

  • Course Prerequisite: Introduction to the CDM Agency Dashboard (CDM141) course and/or Asset Management with the CDM Agency Dashboard (CDM142) course.  
  • [CRITICAL] Student Technical Check: Approved registrants must attend the mandatory student technical check the day before the event to establish a connection to the course content and lab environment.

  • Location: Online via Webex 
  • CPE Credits: Participants can earn 4 CPEs by attending this event in its entirety. You must log into the training environment and complete all lab activities to receive CPE credits. 
  • Attendee Requirements: This is a hands-on event. Attendees can use government-issued computers or personal computers. A second monitor is recommended. 
  • Note: Audio is through Webex; there is no external dial-in. Closed captioning (English only) will be available during this event.
