About the Speaker
Lauren Zabierek, Co-Founder/Executive Director Cyber Project, #ShareTheMicInCyber
Lauren Zabierek is the Executive Director of the Cyber Project at Harvard Kennedy School's Belfer Center. She is a 2019 graduate of the Kennedy School's mid-career MPA program. Lauren served as an intelligence officer in the United States Air Force at the beginning of her career. She then served as a civilian intelligence analyst with the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency assigned to the Office of Counterterrorism, where she completed three war zone deployments and became a subject matter expert on Activity Based Intelligence. Later, as a Senior Intelligence Analyst at the cybersecurity threat intelligence startup, Recorded Future, she established and managed the Public Sector team. She is the co-founder of the online social media movement #ShareTheMicInCyber, which aims to dismantle racism in cybersecurity. She is also a Visiting Fellow at George Mason University’s National Security Institute.
