Scenario Workshop 2 Synopses

In this facilitated workshop, participants will be assigned one of three unique scenarios that describe a plausible future state of the world. Central to each of the scenarios are issues pertaining to progress in quantum technologies, synthetic biology, and brain-computer interfaces. The scenarios provide valuable context for prompting discussions on emerging and evolving risks associated with these technologies and strategies to manage future risks. By examining, in turn, how these strategies fare in the other scenarios, participants will identify strategies that are robust across multiple futures.
