Steve Casapulla

Interim Assistant Director (AD) for the National Risk Management Center (NRMC)

Steve Casapulla serves as the Executive Assistant Director (EAD) for Infrastructure Security at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).  He concurrently serves as the Interim Assistant Director (AD) for the National Risk Management Center (NRMC) and the Acting Chief Strategy Officer at the agency. 

Prior to joining CISA, Casapulla was the Director for Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity in the Office of the National Cyber Director.  He previously spent more over a decade at CISA, holding a variety of senior roles, and his prior federal service includes work at the Small Business Administration and Department of State. 

Casapulla is an officer in the U.S. Navy Reserves and has made multiple overseas deployments in support of contingency operations and the Global War on Terror. 

A graduate of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, NY, he has earned graduate degrees from Georgetown University and the Naval War College. He holds a CISM certification and received an Executive Certificate in Public Leadership from the Harvard Kennedy School.
