CISA at the 2020 Virtual Warriors to the Workforce Summit | September 16-17, 2020

As a proud employer of veterans and military spouses, CISA is pleased to participate in the 2020 Virtual Warriors to the Workforce Summit along with the rest of the Department of Homeland Security. This free event is a combination of information sharing and speakers and includes a career fair targeted towards veterans and military families. Find CISA in the virtual exhibit hall where you can speak with CISA recruiters, gain resume tips, and learn about opportunities and how to apply to positions.

Virtual National HBCU Week 2020 |  September 21-25, 2020

CISA is participating in Virtual National HBCU Week 2020. This year’s theme “The Perfect Decade to Accelerate HBCU Competitiveness” builds on the momentum of past conferences that have exposed, cultivated and nurtured. Now, the conference offers a unique experience, substantially structured around deal-making between HBCUs, the Federal sector and non-Federal public and private partners. Students and alumni from HBCU colleges and universities can speak with CISA recruiters, gain resume tips, and learn how to apply to internships and recent graduate opportunities.

When:  Monday, September 21, 2020 – Friday, September 25, 2020, 9:00am – 4:30pm, EST

Webinar: DHS is Hiring | Students & Recent Grads | September 23, 2020

Are you interested in learning more about the various careers within the Department of Homeland Security? CISA is participating in a series of webinars hosted by DHS to highlight the department-wide mission, career opportunities, special hiring authorities, effective resume writing, and how to create a profile on USAJOBS. The webinars are free and open to the public, but are limited to the first 1500 registrants.

2020 Federal Asian Pacific American Council (FAPAC) Virtual Student Career | September 25, 2020

CISA is participating in the Federal Asian Pacific American Council (FAPAC) 2020 Virtual Student Career Fair on Friday September 25, 2020.  Students and recent graduates can speak with CISA recruiters, gain resume tips, and learn how to apply to internships and recent graduate opportunities

The Federal Asian Pacific American Council (FAPAC) was founded in 1985. It is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization representing the civilian and military Asian Pacific American (APA) employees in the Federal and District of Columbia governments. FAPAC is the oldest and largest AAPI affinity group for federally employed Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. FAPAC leadership training programs are designed for all Grades from GS-5 to SES.

Non-Profit and Government Career Fair | November 13, 2020

CISA is participating in the virtual Non-Profit and Government Career Fair on Friday, November 13, 2020. This is an exciting collaborative event between George Washington University, New York University, University of Pennsylvania, University of Delaware and Women's Foreign Policy Group to educate students from all majors and academic backgrounds about non-profit and government organization career paths within their field of study. Students and alumni from George Washington University, New York University, University of Pennsylvania, and University of Delaware can speak with CISA recruiters, gain resume tips, and learn how to apply to internships and recent graduate opportunities. Registration for the Virtual Government & Non-Profit Career Fair begins September 14.

When: Friday, November 13, 2020, 1:00pm – 4:00pm, EST
Audience: Students and alumni from George Washington University, New York University, University of Pennsylvania, and University of Delaware
How to Register: Registration begins Monday, September 14, 2020.  Students may reach out to their school’s career offices for registration.

  • Statement of Service Letter (Current Active Duty)

  • College transcripts (entry-level cyber positions) 
  • Eligibility that documents participation in PeaceCorps, AmeriCorps VISTA, Boren Fellows, or Scholarship for Service programs.
