Audience: The CDM Dashboard training is intended for the Federal Civilian Executive Branch (FCEB) agencies; attendance will be restricted to attendees from these agencies (https://cyber.dhs.gov/agencies/)
[CRITICAL] Course Prerequisite: Approved registrants must attend the mandatory VIRTUAL STUDENT TECHNICAL CHECK the day before the event to establish a connection to the course content and lab environment.
Event Details:
- This course presents information regarding current Federal cybersecurity directives BOD 22-01 and BOD 23-01, and how they can be supported by the CDM Agency Dashboard. The course will explain the BODs’ scope and cover reporting responsibilities. Hands on labs will enable students to practice using the CDM Agency Dashboard to enable automated BOD 22-01 reporting. The key features of this course include:
- Describing current directives and mandates
- Describing agency and CISA responsibilities
- Hands on lab exercises
- Overview of the new BOD 23-01
- This course will guide the learner on how the CDM Dashboard can be used to address the requirements of a directive, adhere to policies, and understand how to identify and monitor known exploitable vulnerabilities (KEVs). Knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy principles and a familiarity with organizational cybersecurity requirements and procedures is recommended. Familiarity with the CDM Agency Dashboard is also recommended.
Additional Logistics and Information:
- CPE Credits: Participants can earn 2 CPEs by attending this event in its entirety. You must log into the training environment and complete all the lab activities to receive CPE credits.
- Attendee Requirements: Attendees can use government-issued computers or personal computers. A second monitor is recommended.
- Note: Audio is through Adobe Connect; there is no external dial- in. Closed captioning (English only) will be provided during this event.
