Description

The Indiana University (IU) Cybersecurity Clinic was established to augment the cybersecurity protections of critical community organizations while providing hands-on experience to the next generation of cybersecurity leaders. Through the Cybersecurity Clinic, IU students serve as cybersecurity consultants under faculty mentorship—offering pro bono cybersecurity assistance to critical infrastructure providers and organizations that play a vital role in the community (e.g., nonprofits, hospitals, municipalities, local governments, small business, and community foundations). The IU Cybersecurity Clinic helps to equip these organizations with the managerial, technical, and legal skills needed to mitigate their cyber risk, and has engaged in targeted international cybersecurity capacity building with clients in Kosovo and Ghana.
