Description

The Chemical Sector Security Awareness Training is a foundational voluntary training course that provides an overview of security awareness at chemical facilities for private sector stakeholders.

Participants will be able to identify their security roles and responsibilities and determine activities and behaviors that could pose a potential security threat to them and their facility. This training will allow participants to review and identify tools to assist in implementing behaviors and actions to help enhance the security posture of their facility. The target audiences are Chemical Sector Coordination Council (SCC) members, chemical sector facility owners and operators, as well as their employees.

The course is now live and can be accessed through the FEMA Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) learning management system. Users will need to obtain a FEMA Student Identification Number (SID) to be able to access the course at https://cdp.dhs.gov/femasid/register.
