Dr. Madhu Gottumukkala
Dr. Madhu Gottumukkala serves as the Acting Director and the Deputy Director for CISA. In this role, he helps lead CISA’s mission to understand, manage, and reduce risk to cyber and physical infrastructure that the American people rely on every day.
Chris Butera
Chris Butera is the Acting Executive Assistant Director for the Cybersecurity Division of CISA. As CISA’s senior career cybersecurity official, he is responsible for leading the agency’s mission to address the nation’s most significant cyber threats.
Katherine DiEmidio
Katherine DiEmidio was appointed to serve as the Director of Legislative Affairs at CISA in May 2025. She also serves as the (acting) Chief External Affairs Officer.
Marci McCarthy
Marci McCarthy serves as the Director of Public Affairs for CISA.
