The “Introduction to Conflict Prevention Techniques” event is a 30-minute informational webinar that provides a brief overview of CISA’s Conflict Prevention resources that can be used to enhance the safety and security of people, facilities, and communities and thus potentially prevent incidents of violence. This webinar is intended for supervisors, security managers, and public safety officials interested in receiving an overview of conflict prevention.

The “Strategies to Deter Targeted Violence” event is a 60-minute webinar that includes an introduction to the current threat landscape and provides a more-in-depth understanding of de-escalation strategies which can help prevent and protect against incidents of targeted violence. This webinar is intended for front-line staff, community members, and critical infrastructure operators.
