Reminder! SAFECOM Membership Applications Open through March 1

SAFECOM is seeking individuals passionate about emergency communications interoperability and looking to engage in an organization with representatives from public safety associations and emergency responders from across the country to share promote governance, best practices, and lessons learned. Those interested in submitting an application for SAFECOM membership have until Thursday,March 1, 2018, to be considered.

SAFECOM is currently in search of a few at-large members who are experienced and cutting-edge public safety practitioners, operators, and support-level personnel representing state, local, tribal, or territorial associations or agencies, with a background in emerging public safety communications, interoperability, cybersecurity, or information technology disciplines. Applicants must have a desire to learn and possess practical experience with public safety communications interoperability. Applicants must represent a relevant discipline within the public safety community, currently serve on a statewide and/or regional interoperability governing body, represent a relevant public safety association, or possess expertise in a specific area relevant to the public safety community.
