Description

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas’s (UNLV) Cyber Clinic is a student-led organization that works with small businesses. The organization aims to reduce cyber-related risk for small businesses by assessing their security posture and supporting them with the adoption of measures that minimize their vulnerability to cybercrime. The Cyber Clinic partners with the UNLV Office of Economic Development and the Nevada Small Business Development Center (SBDC) to identify under resourced organizations. Once identified, the clinic aids these businesses in finding vulnerabilities in their assets and protecting them from online threats. 

Services provided: Cyber assessment services.

Request Services and Volunteer

  • Criteria to Request Services:
    • Any small business located in the Las Vegas area is eligible for services. 
  • Request Services:
  • Criteria to Volunteer: 
    • Open to students and non-students across the country. 
    • No cybersecurity experience required. 
    • Must complete a panel interview. 
    • After acceptance, volunteers will receive technical training.
