Each year at this time, tens of thousands of people from across the country convene in Washington, DC to honor the brave men and women of our Nation’s law enforcement agencies—especially those who have paid the ultimate price.



In honor of National Police Week 2016, the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Emergency Communications (OEC) wishes to recognize the many members of SAFECOM who represent law enforcement and help ensure that police officers nationwide have the resources they need to communicate effectively before, during, and after emergencies and disasters.
