Individuals and Families

CISA offers information about cybersecurity best practices, detecting misinformation, securing communities from physical harm, and more.
Report a Cyber Issue
Organizations should report anomalous cyber activity and/or cyber incidents 24/7 to report@cisa.gov or (888) 282-0870.

Critical infrastructure is the foundation on which vital societal and economic functions depend. Recent major cyber incidents have had an impact on our critical infrastructure community and caused significant consequences to Americans who rely on it for everyday life.

The threats we face today, both digital and physical, have become more complex and diverse. In collaboration with the federal government, SLTT governments, and the private sector, CISA works tirelessly to strengthen our defense posture and protect the American people.

CISA offers information to the general public about how to implement cybersecurity best practices, detect and avoid disinformation, keep our children and seniors safe online, and secure our communities from physical harm.
