Bomb Threat Assessment for Decision Makers Course (AWR-945)
Description
The Bomb Threat Assessment for Decision Makers Course introduces the participant to types of threats, the threat assessment process, and the implementation of a Bomb Threat Management (BTM) plan. It provides activities for participants to apply specific portions of the risk management process and their newly acquired knowledge about BTM procedures to develop a risk assessment of a bomb threat.
This one-hour Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) covers the following topics:
- Procedures for evaluating a threat
- Low, moderate, and high-risk bomb threats
- Considerations related to searching, evacuating, and reoccupying following a bomb threat
Certifications & Accreditations
The Office for Bombing Prevention (OBP) is accredited by the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) to award Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for this course: 0.1 CEU.
